Native Oyster Monitoring Handbook
We are producing an Ostrea edulis specific Monitoring handbook, based from the “Global Oyster Habitat Restoration: Monitoring and Assessment Handbook” (Baggett et al. 2014). The purpose of this handbook will be to outline monitoring recommendations and assessment methods for Ostrea edulis restoration projects.
In order to produce the Monitoring handbook we will host a 2-day technical writing workshop at the University of Portsmouth on 10th / 11th December 2019, whereby 25 attendees representing the UK and several countries across Europe, will come together to decide on appropriate monitoring methods and produce content for the handbook.
