The Oyster Restoration Company (TORC) is a specialist marine restoration partner delivering scalable native oyster reef projects across the UK and Europe.

From grassroots community initiatives to large-scale infrastructure programmes, we provide the expertise, hatchery capacity and practical deployment solutions needed to deliver successful native oyster reef projects.

Operating from our biosecure hatchery on Scotland’s west coast, we cultivate disease-free native oysters and supply ready-to-deploy reef systems, including our Rapid Reef units. We can contribute at any level — from oyster supply and technical advice through to full project design, delivery and monitoring.

TORC actively collaborates with partners on grant applications, co-funded initiatives and research-led programmes. We are experienced in working alongside wildlife trusts, councils, universities, utilities, NGOs and private sector organisations to develop credible, fundable and measurable restoration projects.
